No Tournament games received yet?

Hope this isn't a silly question.
I've entered my first tournament and have been paired to another player in the tournament lists but I haven't received any games in my multiplayer lobby or any emails, actually I never seem to receive emails for any of my multiplayer games even though it appears to be set up correctly (I used to but not anymore). There is a significant time difference as I'm in Australia, the tournament start was 10.00 Monday 26 Oct, it is currently 10.00 Tuesday 27 Oct here and the time difference shouldn't be 24 hours.
As you can appreciate if there is a problem it doesn't just affect me so I thought I should ask if this is normal.

I think I know what the problem is, my FOG II Empires and Slitherine sign on is Deano2 and I signed up to the tournament from Slitherine but somehow my FOG II signs on as Deano, this may explain why I have to manually load updates to FOG II but Empires auto loads. So are you able to change the FOG II sign on to conform with Empire and Slitherine and hopefully allow the games and updates to auto load?

You are probably right about the cause of the problem. You have signed into the tournament with a different Slitherine account from the one you normally use.

Thanks for the reply, I did send an email to support as soon as I worked out the problem and they said they could change the user name in FOG II (with the loss of any current games) to conform with Slitherine, I told them to proceed but that was 2 days ago. I hope when they make the change the games will appear, crossing fingers I still have time to finish the games (the time difference between Australia and the rest of the world does make it more difficult).

They are working on it. We are just discussing how best to do it without messing anything up.

Okay thanks. I only have 3 games on FOG II at the moment so I don't mind losing them, 2 of the games are with the same player and I've informed him they will go. I do hope that it doesn't impact Empires though those games are long.

Apparently you ought to be able to log into MP using Deano2 and the password for that account, and thus play the tournament games without disabling the games on your other account.

Just edit the User Name and Password fields to match the Deano2 account. (Then you can change them back again when you want to play gamers with your other account)

Any emails from the PBEM server, if your account is set up to receive them, will go to the email registered to the Deano2 account.

However, even if you don't receive emails, tournament turns should appear in your MP Lobby if you log into MP with the Deano2 username and password.

One of the first things I tried but it keeps coming up with the error message below.

Error in one element of JSON array. First key element of the array is numerical.

Don't know what that means as neither my user name or password starts with a number. I also verified that I was using the correct password for Deano2 and I was. So appears something more is required than just swapping username and password. Did just try it again with the same result.

I had considered doing a complete delete and reinstall but I thought that support should be able to change the user name without that drastic and time consuming step, I don't care if I lose my current games.

Don't do anything rash, it probably wouldn't solve the problem anyway.

I will pass on the information about the error message to the PBEM code manager.
