German StuG III vs Pz IV

As per the Wiki page on StuG III, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturmgesch%C3%BCtz, I've been buying them instead of Pz IV. They cost less and they are as good against infantry. Pz III are still not as good against Soviet T-34's but Stukas and 88mm Flak help.

Yeah sthug life is good, but as far as you progress, enemy inf get better stats/star and panzer 4s have better upgrade like H and j, so that sthug can no more compare to pz4

Lieutenant Walther Oberloskamp, Zugführer (platoon leader) in Sturmgeschütz-Brigade 667, is seen here on his very successful StuG III which is decorated with 40 kill rings painted on the barrel. Those kills earned him the Knight's Cross on May 10, 1943.

I haven't encountered them in the game yet, but I remember Soviet SU-85 and SU-122 assault guns as being pretty good in the Avalon Hill war game PanzerBlitz.
