Non-smooth desert square connections

Post by kronenblatt »

Normally the battle maps of FoG2 are textured really nicely, each square attaching to the others smoothly. However, I thought I'd highlight something I noticed in a battle recently in a two-level hill (first 0 -> 100 height, then 100 -> 200 height); don't know the map type but the terrain looks as desert or middle-eastern (agricultural?). Hope this is of help. See picture below. (I believe it's the corners of the hill that could constitute the effect, since I saw something similar in the same battle, for a hill's corner too.)

Thanks. We don't have enough room on the texture sheets to have special versions where lower hills meet higher hills like this, so sadly this sort of thing is inevitable.

OK, fair enough: no probs. Thought I'd just mention it.
