How do you win??????
Playing on Colonel level and this game is so ~~~~@@@@***** frustrating! I am on the Stalingrad scenario and the best tank I can get is the IVG yet I have encountrered three KV-1 units that totally outclass this!! Also I assaulted a town and the results were supposed to be '-2/-2' but when I attack I lose SEVEN!!!!! What is the point of even coming with the projected losses when you lose so badly? It puts off your entire attack. And how do you win Greece in 12 turns??? I was not even half way down the map on 12 turns!!!
Re: How do you win??????
hi,
-KV-1: you should use stuka and with encirclement, when the kv1 is "red" , you finish it by making it surrender.
-projected losses : you got "rugged defense" ? Anyway, you should play in "chess" mod or at least "limited" (dice chess) . IA will no more cheat the results.
- greece in 12 turns: you have to rush the map and be lucky not to get ambushed . You may add 5 turns in options too.
Personnally, i play only in field marshall difficulty , and even in this max vanilla difficulty, it is still too easy!
(i have more than 1000 hours on the game too )

Dice chess is much less stressful (max+/-2 from predicted result).
The key to Panzer Corps is keep units alive so you gain experience, use the terrain to your advantage and combined arms, plus a bit of patience.
Stalingrad is mostly city hexes with some open terrain, so you will usually do best with a higher proportion of infantry (grenadiers and pioneers are good for destroying tanks in city hexes) backed with lots of artillery - Defensively Stugs for mobility, 105s or 75s for defence against soft targets and light tanks (they have good ammo and rate of fire) and 170s for hurting things (the 150 and 170 both have the same rate of fire but 170 hits hard enough to compensate for lower ammo).
A few carefully placed tanks can block the streets. Even if they can't beat the enemy tanks captured Matilda, Char B1 or KV1 have enough armour to resist attacks, and all they have to do is block the street so it's not critical that they can do significant harm back.
Then use either tac bombers to damage them as Jeffoot says or strat bombers to strip their ammo (my preferred approach).
Also, be prepared to check the MV conditions and just aim for that - it's sometimes worth aiming for an MV instead of stressing over a DV.
