Might it be possible to have an option for a nation to have the system choose an alternate color say in the diplomacy display?

Look at Macedonia and Dalmatia. This is confusing! Thanks.

Changing color dynamically was something considered. Not done yet for the amount of UI work involved (you have to show a palette probably)
