One advantage of having games on Steam is that if your pc has a meltdown all you need to do is reload Steam to your machine and all your games are there. As a gamer I buy most of my games from Slitherine/Matrix which interests me, while Steam provides a multitude of titles of all sorts. I like having options and both companies provide....this is my 2 cents worth....

especialy when you travel a lot like me, switching from 4 of my PCs, this is realy best way of managing your playing.
