Hah, now that's interesting. I'm wondering whether the Axis has enough naval units to support the landings, though. If I were playing the Axis, I would also attack in the NA, although the Axis doesn't seem very strong there. Anyway, the best way of defeating the British in 1940-1941 is to hit them everywhere at once. They have to crack somewhere.

Yes , the only hope of Uk is USA & USSR . Before they join the war, Uk has to suffer everythng .

This is really the only choice the Axis has after the debacle in France. Bringing Russia into the war in 1941 would be suicide. The UK is weak, and must be ground into the dust for the Axis to have any chance at all in this game.

Problem with this is that he won´t have time to complete the conquest of England. He will probably only get half for a year and then only to loose it in 42 to the UK and US forces. Add to that the russians come in strong in 42....this will be a tough game for the Axis, they have already sustained heavy casualties and they have gained little.

I agree with Joe. I also see no reason why Sealion can't be completed before '42 - at least none so far. Morris has been and continues to be aggressive everywhere, including Africa and in Scotland. And the Axis should have 2 paratroopers to work with soon. Once London falls, things get pretty easy for the Axis due to the supply situation and the ability to rail. Russia will be tough, however, even if England falls.

Well, if he is lucky the weather will be fair so he can land, there is a small chance for bad weather still next turn. If good he can land and will probably take southampton in 2 turns, my guess is 3 turns if Morris gives up resistance. That leaves him in end of april. By this time, Morris reinforcements should have arrived from scotland and could cause delays. So i would say atleast another 2 turns for London and then up north to capture Birmingham, Bristol and Liverpool another 2 turns. Now we are in July probably end of it. So perhaps another 3-4 turns left of fair weather to head up to Newcastle, Edinborough and Glasgow....also capture them? Not possible in that terrain.

Maybe Morris will put up a defense in Scotland instead and mount a gerilla warfare. In that case things will go easiear until then....

The weather turn fair & Axis land in England sucessfully. But this time , we can't just retreat like we did in the AAR with Joe . We will fight on the beach .

In Africa , a corp will be sacrified for mainbody's retreat .

Think you are making the right choice and defending southern part of England, since US is about to enter you will soon have reinforcements

The US is about to enter in May 1940?? That's more variability even than I was suggesting! ;)
