Well David Fairhurst has a good match up as he practiced against 900 points of Santa on Monday and he has already told you all he won.

Yes specificity and use of Capitals will count.

The army was Numidian,Lynda has them on the table deservadly for her famous knitted terrain.
Thanks to all for a very enjoyable albeit hot weekend, the Incas finished 4th and yes they beat Mr Taylor and beat a 900pt army with 700pts.
They also managed a 14-6 loss to Graham Evans with him using 900pts against 800.
So still havn't found an excuse not to take them to New Zealand
David
PS Thanks again for the best painted army prize, never has something been so unexpected

Grrr Mr Fairhurst !!

I did make the mistake of playing historically and only putting 700 points on the table against your 800.

My Santa Doodies made up for it in the last game by gaining a winning draw against a 900 point 20 BG Ottoman army with only 800 points of their own. They could have so easily managed to break their opponents with a little luck at the end.

Thanks to everyone involved and my opponents over the 2 days.

Looking forward to gaining some revenge at Britcon if any of you feel like facing me in the Medieval period!

The Incas are heading to the Exotics at Britcon but if there arn't enough entries then they will come and find some more Spanish armies
to change history against, you forgot to put smallpox in your army list

I think I've decided on my army for Britcon David and it is unlikely to be Spanish.

Anyway when do I get to play against the fairer Fairhurst?

I am looking forward to next years proposed format.

I enjoyed the weekend and even finished in the top 10, not bad for 4 out 4 defeats :) My Landsknechts will not be put off and will return for RollCall, slightly tweaked."More flags" :) Where I am sure I will get more practice fighting Romans... Only had 3 out of four games this weekend... Shame the NKE player had half an idea as well :(

In my eyes Lynda is of course the fairer one of the two,Katie dosn't yet play FOG but I'm sure she will eventually when she dosn't have to worry about being cool etc, anyway Rob you need to be further up the table to play Lynda

Whilst it was very well organised, and even maintained the extreme weather policy of last year, but I thought I had entered a variable points competition?

In the event, I fought four equal-points battles! Did this happen to anyone else?

Thanks to organisers and opponents, including steve whose LF severely embarrassed the almughavars!

Simon, are you going to post the prospective next year's rules on this thread for discussion?

Nigel - Britcon is not open so it is unlikely that your Landsknechts will meet any Romans, lessin' you count very late Byzantines of course. :)
