I refer you to the usual answer about lists, deadlines, wargamers, etc.

You can see whose lists are in by going to the tournament website.

The Italians (surprise, surprise) are the biggest culprits - 6 have yet to submit an army list. There are only 11 entered...

Steve Hammond (is he any relation to Neil?) from GB hasn't either and one of the Spanish chaps.

Nik - aren't you the list checker? If there is one person who would know if the website is upto date.... I could get a list of those who haven't yet submitted a list if you want

We know who hasn't sent a list yet - the list checking is well organised being run by Brits, even if one is ex-pat

There are four recalcitrant players who I'm chasing for lists. Friday was the deadline, so it's not too bad.
As soon as I get the lists, I will obviously publish. Patience grasshopper.

I did think of making the late list penalty one bottle of (decent) wine for every day late. I'm
not sure how enforceable it'd be though.

Well it now appears we have until July the 8th...

I also notice the following:

"JULY, SATURDAY 11TH

h. 18.30 - MEETING/DEBATE "WHICH FUTURE FOR WARGAME?"
Delegates of different rules will meets to talk on the possibility of a common future!!"

Any news on what this is about Peter?

You mean the one billed in the News section as:
Saturday, July 11th, h. 18.30, Meeting/Debate: the future of wargame in Italy!
So unless you have a burning desire to move to Italy, and I suspect can speak Italian, it probably isn't for you

Sounds like a very good opportunity for us non-italian speakers to find out if there are any decent pubs in Rome...

I am fairly sure that Nik and I have on more than one occasion managed to start the day's play still drunk from the night before. It doesn't seem to make much difference to the way I play.
