Do Dragoons count as Mounted or is it the troop types defined in the rule book only

They aren't battle troops, so whether they are mounted or not is irrelevant.benjones1211 wrote:Do Dragoons count as Mounted or is it the troop types defined in the rule )

Still nothing on the Devizes and District website about this year's competitions.
How can we enter?
Do we just send them a letter as our entry and a cheque (for how much?

When do you want the lists in by Richard
I am sure no one is interested but Simon and I are considering bringing more than the minimum mounted if that's ok
Cheers

There is nothing on the website.

Likewise on the interest front - Gordon and I are contemplating bringing more than the minimum Simonsalasdair2204 wrote:I am sure no one is interested but Simon and I are considering bringing more than the minimum mounted if that's ok

There are still places available if anyone else fancies coming... or are you all off to the south of France with your trophy wives?

Re: Attack! Devizes - 19th/20th July 2014 - A Time of Rebell
Well it looks like we are going to be compact and bijou:
Don McHugh & Richard Bodley Scott
Later Swedish
Keith McGlynn & J Walton & Kevin Jackson Later 30YW German
Dave Allen & Gordon Jamieson West Sudanese (Hausa)
Ben Jones & Robert Medcraft 30 Years War French
Alasdair Harley & Simon Leray-Meyer Tuareg
Lynette Maxim & Simon Clarke Later ECW Royalist
So, with 6 teams and 4 games, do we need to do the whole tournament draw in advance to prevent the possibility of anyone having to play the same team twice, or can we do it in the normal way?

Do it the normal way, just reckon that in the final round the no1 team may be playing the no5 or No6 team if the results work out that way. With 6 teams should (hopefully) always be able to find a match where two teams don't play each other twice even if the last round is somewhat messed up as to whom plays who.

50% Camels.... what happened to the 'period of rebellion'?
Re: Attack! Devizes - 19th/20th July 2014 - A Time of Rebell
Actually only 33% Camels.
