A 1-tourney suspension for a 2nd offence would be simpler to administer.
But we do want to encourage people to attend don't we Tim?
Trust me, organising Britcon would be a lot, lot easier if there were NO wargamers attending !

Aaaah, the good old Draconians. Players always underestimate the complexity of that list when they are submitting their version... !

Glen isn't a player who will optimize his list based on potential knowledge of the other competitors, and probably won't even see the R&R. And being in the medieval grouping he will know that there will be knights and pikes, long bows and maybe some Malays and Chinese.

I recommend publishing anyway.

a % penalty would be more valid- either X% of points deducted at the end or X% penalty on the first three games (so they have to play with only (100-x)% of their army - rounded down.

the former would stop any tactical lateness - which is the real concern I suspect.

Just name the f***ers. We will then have another excuse to rip the p!ss out of them mercilessly and will at every opportunity.

Whereas now we don't normally publicly/officially know who they are (even though we may have an infromed idea) so can't take the piss. And its amazing what a bit of peer pressure can do.

Especially when someone is face down with a funnel in their a******e

Is Glen up for some butt chugging?

Glen's up for most things, but well............maybe not this. He should get some points for travelling so far to drink ordinary beer and be in close proximity to a very ordinary cricket team.

Glen and Phil are a perfectly matched ex-squaddy couple. They'll get on like a house on fire - er, assuming they can actually understand what the other is saying. :D

He doesn't have to drink Fosters as we've got some great British beers he could try! And not to worry about the cricket team, by the time he gets here they'll have lost the Ashes and will soon be back on their way to Oz with their tails between their legs! 8)

That is the single most vile thing I've ever heard. You must move in some very low company.

I've played Glen before and he is a great guy.

Are you bringing your funnel this year Graham? You had so much fun telling us about it in Lisbon

And I'm sure if he's such a great guy he'll volunteer for you to use it on him

When do you hope to publish Kevin?

We could at least see the Ancients lists if they are all in? And FoGR?

I've sent the Fog A lists to Tim for posting on the website.

I believe Richard is waiting for one more list.

Fog M is probably all Swiss anyway. Except for Ian of course.

Don't apologise dave, its a sign of weakness.

Anyway they should go up on the BHGS site first, its their competition, then will, I assume, go onto here and possibly the main FoG Slitherine site in the news section. It never seems to get much news because nobody tells them anything.

I imagine BHGS will perhaps want to get R+R for a few periods posted at once, so we may well still be held up by the laggards.
