Looks like being a cracking good field. While not all the top players are there you have most of the best players in the UK...

Plus Tim Porter...

Don,

Is that the same Tim Porter who has now beaten you 3 times in a row and published the reports on Madaxeman.com?!

Don,

I am really flattered that you some how think that beating me is important.

We where very close at Usk, which wasn't bad for Turks. :) :) :) :)

If I win one game at Clevedon, it will be a miracle - my army is designed for fun, not winning! You will have a chuckle checking it.

i think I can guarantee, no-one else will use the same army, let alone list.
This will make the Ottomans look unbeatable!!!

Don,

For the third time this year I am re-basing figures that I haven't used for well over ten years. As to whoose is any good or not we will have to see on the day.

We may be in a very close contest for last place :D :D :D :D :D

There will be prizes for First and second, as well as best present/painted army.

That reminds me I better add them to the painting pile

Don,

It is great to see how many people have committed to come. I have a few more names who I am waiting to confirm, so am hopeful we may fill all 28 places.

The army lists are starting to come in and no surprises so far.

I will produce a R & R the week before.

Apparently "Alasdair" is so famous now he doesn't even need a surname....

The question is whether he is the "Maradona" or the "Madonna" of Renaissance wargaming.... ?

Or maybe he is supposed to whisper "Memento mori" in Alastairs ear as he plays as per the slave attending a triumphing Roman general. :)

Is that Latin for 'please let me move a BG just this once, go on, pretty please'?

Will you two please stop doing this, it's very confusing.

In future why not refer to yourselves as The Don and The wannabe Don so we can figure out who's saying what to whom.

Dave,

For the Clevedon round I must be 'The Don' as I am organising.

is this the "spot the deliberate mistake" round? Or are you just trying extra- hard to confuse!
