Great looking Hetzers indeed. Always need such good looking icons in the game. Thank you so much churchy. I think VPaulus has a good idea that you have your own thread here on this forum. Your work will surely be most appreciated and well received. It warms my Panzer heart to see this game get better almost daily. :D

Excellent work, churchlake. I have some of your work in my game already.

Flak, any plans to update "Panzer Camouflage Skins"? Good stuff. Is it possible to put the Ambush camo on infantry units?

I attached a couple edits done using Microsoft Picture Manager. I thought they looked good. All I did was adjust the color.

Thanks 4kEY...i hope that i can finish my new vehicle-serial today. To your question: i don't think that's possible to put a correct Ambush Camo on Infantry...they are too small for a complex pattern. I guess you can only see a small color difference but no more. This was the reason why i made black ss-infantry.
The Units you're created looks really fine...keep on working. 8)

By the way: My friends call me "churchy" :D

Hi 4kEY, Yes, I sent a large group of skins to Rezaf the other day. It will take a while for him to get them out but there will be another group of skins that I hope are liked even better. He says he will do his best for a quick turnaround. By all means, touch the skins up any way you see fit. They are for you.

I intended that skin to turn out with darker green stripes and brown, but it did not happen but there is another skin similar with darker colors and it is my favorite. I am used to being able to "weather" and "wash" colors on a Panzer. I am learning some techniques that look good on skins so tell me what you think when you see the next group. In the meantime, enjoy Churchy's skins. They are excellent!!!!!!!!!! I have download all of his skinned icons and am organizing them now. There are over a 12 new Tiger I skins alone.

Unfortunately the colors from the skin pattern to the icon sometimes vary. However you will note that some of the "wild or bright colors" do actually blend in with different environment tiles. The vanilla tiles in the game do not give much variance in colors. There are some "bright" patterns in the first batch of skins Rezaf did and they do not appeal to lots of people, but those are color matched to German paint chips from a reference book. And always keep in mind, some patterns look good on some panzers and others do not look so good.

My advice is to build you a camouflage icon file in your computer and organize it by the vehicle. That way you can go to the file for say "Panthers" and look at all of them together to pick the ones you really want to use. This makes it easy to make a choice. And remember you can change the icons from Puma, Rezaf and Churchy in the SS mod or Heer mod. All you have to do is title the icons before you put them in the graphic file and then go to the Equipment editor and put them with the unit, confirm, save and go and play.

Well, gotta go blast some Bolsheviks. See ya

Beautiful work churchy! Really really nice. I think this skin will be very popular.

I would like to request that in the future you maybe could include this vehicle in your sets if at all possible: Opel Maultier (from Puma with his permission). Perhaps he will allow you do do this for all of us since we all know he made the icon and you are well acquainted with him on the DMP forum and I do not speak good enough German to ask him for permission. It it is not possible, no problem of course.

And here is a link with icons of the JP with skirts and Hetzer with skirts you did for me, along with a Jagdpzr IV L70 (A), Brummbar that Bebro did for me personally. The link also includes a Panzerwerfer done for the forum's use. If at all possible, please include these in the next group of skins you do. Again, if not possible, no problem. http://www.mediafire.com/?o275h2g7izn2r

You've the big icons as well, churchlakecity. I think that Bob, will be very happy. This is the ambush camouflage that I've used for some artillery units (the big ones) for his SS mod.
He wanted the big icons as well for the armor units. :D

No problem for me Bob. I sent you a PM the other day when the forum went down so I guess you didn't get it. I wanted to ask you if you would be OK with me taking your SS and Heer Mods and putting other camo icons in them for my own private use. I'd be using your mod to make my personal mods for my choice and pet camouflage patterns to use in the game. Those mods can be made to fit any camouflage pattern I think. And they would be a great tool for variety in using other camouflage patterns in the game making it even more interesting.

In the fall I was working on something similar for my own use that would have done that, but I got distracted making maps so I stopped. I know how much trouble you went to in order to make that mod. Now you did the work for me and everyone else. Thanks very much. I for one appreciate it because I know what a bitch it is to work those tedious hours trying to get everything perfect on ALL units.

I am glad you guys welcomed churchy. He is a first class guy. Between him, Rezaf, Puma and some others, we can have a smorgasboard of icons. That is my hope for this game, lots of variety in ALL areas.

Besides, it's not such a bad English. My English is far from being good, and yet I'm a moderator in an English language forum.
It's not so important.
