The Human Factor defintely changes the game. That is why most of my games that I play now are PBEM. I mainly play the AI for testing new scenarios as well as the ones that I am developing - sort of a workbench.

I played this as Alexander vs. Indian AI. I creamed the AI. I kept on chasing his light missile troops for some points. His spears were useless. I kinda think the missle troops were harder to kill and more effective in doing damage. But they did give a beating to my phalanxes.

You have to place the Medium Infantry with light spears in the right kind of terrain to be effective. This is something the AI does not do well.
