A battle in which Nikiforos managed to make me attack uphill, and then attack uphill again in the opposite direction to retake my starting area, as both armies crushed the opposing left flank and wheeled around.

The Bosporans hid their army in two forests on opposite ends of the map. The Byzantines trundled across to attempt an attack, but failed to make headway before night fell.

A very hard one .
Irish were quite only infantry , alan were quite only cavalry
The irish were hidden in woods and behind hills . When alans discovered the trap they turned back and waited for enemy
a hill near the alan deployment line was full of alan troops so that irish could not pursue their counter attack
Maybe with more time , irish could have won but it is not a certainty.
Great thanks to my opponent , the game was very closed and we needed both reflection each turn.
