The unexpected morning artillery bombardment (near Stuttgart in Baden) was devastating for the Bavarians.
After the Pretzelstand and Bierwagen were destroyed and the pot of boiling weißeWürstchen was knocked over, the Bavarians rolled up their lederhosen and returned home.
After all, you can't fight without a proper breakfast!

As General Sherman said, it was an “unconditional surrender,” meaning withdrawal from battle.

In the second battle, in the wooded hills of Lorraine, the Bavarian army, marching through a huge forest, apparently lost its way and started picking mushrooms for preserves (it's autumn, so that makes sense), and did not reach the battlefield.
[withdrawal from battle].

Sorry Gentlemen, but I'm a bit confused here.

How do I treat these outcomes for the campaign purposes?

Do we have two strategic Hanoverian wins or maybe one strategic win and a draw or, instead two draws?

Let me know, please, which is your evaluation of the described situation ...

In my opinion, these are two strategic victories (walkovers).

AD 1740 - MECKLEMBURG - Open Battle
Austrian marginal victory

Austrian – Anglo Hanoverian 35% - 48%

Despite the unflattering considerations on the martial skill of the old officer whose most brilliant talent seemed to be the lover of the Emperor's sister, the new Austrian general proved to be much more resilient than expected and – having rested the soldiers and rebuilt some confidence in the officer – bravely led the army in a head on assault against a daunting and undefeated enemy, taking also advantage of its numerical inferiority, gaining at the end of the day an arduous victory that could have been larger had it not been for the unexpected collapse of some untrained units in the center of the battlefield.
So that, lastly, the honour of the Habsgurg crown is, at least, partially restored.

At the end of the day I desire to thank everybody, Gentlemen, for the sportsmanship you showed in the game but also for the patience displayed in carrying on such a long campaign.

Not everything was carefully designed, and that’s my fault, having rashly started the game without properly testing it, so that, in particular, Major Attacks, intended to give strategic deepness to the campaign, proved to be a flop, being too one-sided, while Truces were underrated by all players, myself included, due to their excessive cost.

That said, a new campaign, set in the Baltic area, is ready to be launched, designed with the necessary adjustments and sporting much more Provinces and Actions, so I hope that at least some of you will be interested in it!
