Division E for Eagles
Barrold713 (Germans) defeats Supervark (Rus) 45-12
Very interesting map with a large mountainous area...a small single hex pass...a large marshy area on the other side and more mountains. The struggle was to get around to a place where my superior cav and lancers could break through.
Good game Supervark!

Division F
Morat (Ostrogoths with Frank allies) beat Blagrot (Bretons) 61-56.
Ostrogoths broke into an early lead, collapsing the Breton left. But then a terrific Breton fightback (their foot swarming over mine) led to a close fought final finish. Many thanks to Blagrot for a great game.

Ludendorf (Hannibal in Africa 202 BC) beat Cunningcairn (Thracian (Hellenistic) 350-281 BC with Antigonid 320-301 BC allies) 47-20%.
Good game Cunningcairn. My head has been in such a total spin the last couple of days that this report comes in seriously late.

Division B
Macedonczyk (Byzantine with Arab, North Africa) defeats GDod (Norman) 42:13
Strange map with two solid mountains. One divide map on 2 parts and secend in middle was strategic:

The beginning is a race who gets it. With a lot of trouble, losing some of the skirmishes I managed to get most of it. I also lost one of shieldwall, who was to late to turn to front and get flank attack. The situation was critical because the attacking horses could break through the front lines and split it in half. I manage to block possibility to pursue this unit and enter another unit here.
I had to repel the violent attacks on my left wing where my opponent attack with dismounted lancers my lancers. In many cases this end with disruption of foot unit.
The attack in centre revealed the enemy's left wing which I used and won the battle.

Division D
Swuul (British 600-1030 AD with Viking 780-899 AD allies) beat bomber23 (Andalusian 756-1049AD with Navarrese 778-899 AD allies) 44-14
A flat battlefield with a patch of rough terrain in the center. The andalusians placed their Irregular infantry and Massed archers in the rough terrain, protected by veteran spearmen and lancers on their flanks. The british line was almost twice as long as the andalusian line. On British left the british had their cavalry, and the andalusians switched most of their excellent cavalry there. The andalusian cavalry was (eventually) checked by british spearmen and cavalry, on the british right the Brythonic foot enveloped the andalusian left flank while the andalusian spearmen were frontally locked by the british spearmen. In center Brythonic footmen crashed through the Irregulars and Massed infantry after some vicious volleys from the british skirmishers (the british skirmishers then switched to left to support the fight against the andalusian cavalry), on British right the line was rolled up by the flankers.
Thank you for the game bomber23, good luck in your remaining matches!

The Syracusan left was sufficiently refused to hold up the Cypriot right for just long enough. Allowing time for the heavier Syracusan main line to prevail.
Thanks for the game!
