Morat (Lydians) beat IMC (Romans) 54-28

Lydians sought to wrap round both left and right flanks with their horse. On the right the Romans expertly pinned and then destroyed the flanking forces. On the left, the Lydians gradually prospered, and managed to get their hoplites into and around the Romans. In the end this was enough to secure the win: but a hard fought game against a very good opponent.

Morat (Visigoths) beat tmac11 (Romans) 46-15.

Visigoths used their horse to spread the battlefield and then used their warbands en masse to hit the Roman centre. In the end the flanking horse managed to do enough damage to break the Roman lines: but this was a very tough fight (far closer than the score suggests) against a skilful opponent.

Well that was a bloody fun scrap, the Egyptians always seemed to have an extra unit but the sheer resiliance of the Carthaginian vets and some rampant fast cav took the win. Probably a rather lucky win in the end but thanks for a close and very fun game
