I am eager to start this next battle, just weirded out by all of the tanks which are overtsrengthened T-34/41’s and some hard hitting KV’s, along with the first appearance of those nasty mobil AA’s.

That crucial First Day went perfectly as it ended up being a cloudy day, which limited my use of bombers and limited there visibility with their planes. So they did not see any of our ground units, but they spotted 1 plane which brought out their mobil AA’s which only nicked 2 of my planes, where as if it was a sunny day would have shredded my vulnerable planes, and more importantly, none of their Big Dog tanks came and punished me, so this is setting me up for a Round 2 where it is Sunny and I am ready to take out those pesky Mobile AA’s and then free to bomb their unguarded tanks into sizeable chunks where I am hoping Round 3 allows me to take them out if I get another Sunny day.

Decisive Victory with 8374 ending Prestige
This was much easier than I thought it would be and the important thing is I earned the 3rd star on my 1st SE Pz3 just in time for upgrades. Also PzIB was awarded the 3rd star, which was very tough to achieve, very interesting as I hit weakened Guards where they fired back and missed where I earned 2 experience points but when I attacked an 85mm AT that was fully suppressed except for 1 which nicked me and earned that last 1 Experience point needed. (Now will just wait for that Tiger upgrade)

Next will be Ilovlya 8999. (I have started it and am having trouble with the counter attack coming up around the trains. Those T-34/43’s are extremely tough to handle at this experience and overstrength level.)

I took it all over and once you eliminate the push towards Illovlya including the area around Train’s they enemy has nothing left to bring to bear against you. The big problem is those units they throw at you are awfully tough, especially at this level.

Next will be Buzinovka Depot with 9336. (If I sold KV-1C and KV-1B I will get over 10,000 prestige)

I am not sure when I will start this, but the numbers look daunting except they are mostly Allied units and as such are not as tough.

Decisive Victory with 9285 ending Prestige
This was an extremely fun and quite easy playthrough, once I got past that difficult 2nd round and those nasty KV-5’s.
I was able to destroy everything and seize control of everything except for the units outside Stalingrad.

Next will be Storming Stalingrad 9785.
I have started first 5 days as of last night on this bad boy.
It is slow going but what I am pleased about is based on no direct contact with most enemy units but subtle maneuvers, I have taken no damage on any of my core units, and only damage, no losses on any of my aux units.
I am using something similar to Huckc’s excellent playthrough found here:

Decisive Victory with 10161 ending Prestige
Super pleased with my success here as was unsure I could dig out all of their entrenched units, but able to coerce them to move and attack blindly into repeated traps, the aux units really help tempt their units into unwise attacks.
Still this is something you really want to be cautious when approaching the Train station as their units along with the combination artillery are very dangerous.
Pavlov’s House is only approachable if you have multiple back up artillery, 1 artillery back up is not enough.

Next will be Stalingrad Breakout 10598.
I finished this battle this weekend and starting Stalingrad Ruins with same 10598.
Stalingrad Breakout is much easier, but Tatsinskaya will be a real beast at this level, that I am unsure I will pull off a Decisive on either Tatsinskaya or Ruins. But I will try.
The bigger news is that I have a new channel and have figured out how to record content and should be getting my microphone so I can start recording me playing this game and detail my strategy with approaching a map.

Decisive Victory with 10283 ending Prestige
Destroyed and seized it all with 2 day replays. Not bad at this stage.
The greatest challenge is handling those mobile AA’s along with their non-stop fighter’s/Bombers continuing to streak across the sky.
Next will be Stalingrad Ruins (which is now up on youtube) with same I started out here, 10598, but when I get back to this side of the playthrough in Tatsinskaya with 11283 to play with. (I will be going deep as I want to get a Decisive and I see based on the heroes awarded on this playthrough that I will be using this group going forward, unless I can pull out a miracle in Ruins and Kotelnikova.

The bigger issue will be starting 1943 fighting on Manstein (5 extra strength points for the enemy) with this minimal prestige and minimal experience gain.
I think I will be able to get through 43 but when I go down 1 strength point in 44 that is where I will probably break, maybe.
