The Turn Overview window for Scenario 11 Volturno Line inconsistantly displays progress towards the "Inflict 10 damage with British Artillery" secondary objective. It shows 0/10 in the automatic popup at turn start in spite of previous damage accrual.
Here the bottom right artllery unit has just fired, and a manual click on the Turn / Date icon brings up the Turn Overview window which correctly shows damage progress.
It appears the auto popup at turn start doesn't read the counter. The check mark does appear when the objective is reached, and the commander is awarded. Weird.

The trigger that governs this objective evaluates only upon Combat Event, not Turn Start. That may explain the discrepancy of what happened versus what you expected to see:
I ran a quick test; the counter incremented every time I scored a hit with these Sextons, the objective was achieved and the commander was awarded:
So it appears to be working as designed.

Thank you for the analysis Bru. I agree the hits are being accurately recorded, and the reward is awarded when the objective is reached.
The curious thing is on the next turn the progress towards the goal isn't reflected in the Turn Overview window- that automatic popup continues to show 0/10.
My example shows when my Turn 7 began, the auto popup showed 0/10- when I ended Turn 6 with 6/10 hits. You're correct that after a combat event, manually triggering the Turn Overview window correctly shows the new total 8/10.
I haven't seen this start-of-turn display misbehavior in any other campaign or scenario, and I certainly can't explain it. At the end of the day it's an annoyance not a show stopper, but worth reporting.

And thanks for that reporting, jakemon. It helps everybody if the officials find it and take action, and it's helping me personally as I craft my own version of OOB; for example, in my game, I already corrected the typo that you reported in your other thread.
Well, heigh-ho the sextons! Time to form up and move out once again! (I am thinking of creating a scenario for this trusty band of mobile artillery warriors.
)
This time, I left #johnconnor off and I stretched the test over several turns.
I noticed no anomalies, so I can't explain your experience. Which I don't deny the validity of; not in the least. Who knows? When it comes to computer games and computers themselves, who knows?
Note to officials: Please run a similar test and see for yourselves.
