Hello,
I need help because I can't update to version 1.80 from version 1.70. I was previously able to successfully update from version 1.00 all the way to 1.70 using GME tool and played the game without any issues. But now when I do the update and run the game it is showing version 1.00 of the game.

I only have the last version of the Mod activated.
When there is an update, I disable the activated version not updated and then activate the new updated version.

I am sorry but I'm not sure if I understood. Are you saying that I should disable all previous updates in GME and then load the latest one 1.80? Or I should just disable the current version 1.70 and then load update 1.80? But disabling version 1.70 would mean going back to version 1.60. I am confused now.

Why so complicated...

Take the full version v1.00
each further update is inserted in the MOD folder by copy and paste and the overwriting of the existing files is confirmed with YES. After that you have the last version as the only mod and only need to activate it in GME-Tool.

Ok, so you are talking about manually updating? Taking all the files from the folders in certain update and then copy paste to folders with the same name in full version 1.00? How is that less complicated than using the GME tool and letting the tool do that for you instead?
Again, I am very confused because now I'm given different explanation and different instructions on how to install the mod and updates from what was explained to me a month ago when I first asked.
Sorry, there might be some misunderstanding.
This is a great mod but updating causes problems for quite a few people. It would be great if we could get a full version with the next update, so that would be full version 1.90 instead of full version 1.00 that we currently have.
If that would be possible I'm sure quite a few people would appreciate it.

Reinstalled the game trying to install the mod through the GME program (does not respond)but she refuses to work !


The mod Pack managed to load, but the ama game is not visible, the mod is not on versions 1.30,1.31 and 1.32

Ok, I understand what you saying now, but that's manual update, I was doing it using GME for every new update. I still don't understand why I'm having problem with updating to v 1.80 when I was able to update all previous versions from 1.00 to 1.70. Hopefully we'll get 2.00 as a full version, that would be great, would make things much easier.

I am currently playing Barbarossa and by the time I finish Typhoon maybe new full version will be available. Is Kharkov 42 next scenario that comes after Typhoon?

I have not been active here on the forum....and the reason is that for me is the PAK MOD has become so big i cant get it to run properly....through the GME? Alaways goes black on me, the only way to get it to work is over writing each file and thats a tall task concidering the MOD is almost 5gb. GOOD luck.

For anyone who has problems installing or running this mod (or any mod that has new graphics, et cetera), I use this method: I have a "master" Panzer Corps installation (not in Steam) on my C: drive, which I never use to play. When I want to try a mod like PAK mod, I create a folder on my C: drive (for example <PAK>), copy the contents of my Panzer Corps master folder into it, and then copy all the PAK mod files into it (overwriting when asked). This means I have a new installation for Panzer Corps with the PAK mod installed. This process takes only a few minutes, and the folder can then be deleted if you no longer wish to play the PAK mod.

This method means that I have a clean installation of Panzer Corps as a source to install any mods, my Steam installation is kept for official DLC games, and my files never get messed up by activating and deactivating mods repeatedly with GME. It might not suit everyone, but it works for me. I think it's too much to expect the mod creators to come up with some sort of automatic installation, as it would probably cause more problems than it solves, and they've got enough to do developing these fantastic mods.

Thanks to Phcas and AKRebels and all the others out there who contribute to mods :D

This method works without problems until version 1.6, then later in the options the mod is specified as 1.0

Всегда используйте последнюю полную версию и все последующие обновления.
Необязательно:
создайте ярлык для файла «panzercorps.exe» из папки «Panzer Corps PAK-Mod» на рабочем столе и переименуйте его в «PAK».
Since JSGME has such huge files to transfer, I decided to go the second way) But even here, after updating version 1.6, problems begin and updates 1.7 and 1.80 already do not update the mod version in the options (

I don't use Steam for the mod, I use the version from the Slitherine store.

I installed up to the latest version, v1.8.

The start screen says PAK Mod v1.00 for me as well, but apart from that everything works okay.

I don't use the steam version because I have other mods there) I took the GOG version and created a folder C:\Program Files (x86)\panzer corps pak-mod and unpacked the game into it! Then I began to update everything went well with the replacement, the versions in the options changed so it was before version 1.00 full, 1.10,1.20,1.30,1.40,1.50,1.60) :D And why are you even sure that you now have the 1.70 and 1.80 version of the mod, when you, like me, have written 1.00 :shock:
