gfs26 (Germanic foot tribes 105-259 + Gallic allied) defeats phlewis (Galatian 280-63 BC) 62-50 (final score : 72-50)

A very bloody fight between warbands... Galatian had more quality troops, but Germanic warbands held, and in same cases, defeated superior warbands... Rabble units in the woods had an important role, almost attacking Galatian right flank from behind, and forcing other units to not reinforce the centre-right, where Germanic warbands had advantage... on the other side (my right flank) an enemy strong cavalry force engaged Germanic cavalry that was deployed there to protect the flank... they won, but not so fast to protect the weakened galatian right flank.

Aetius (Carthaginians) defeats desertedfox (Romans) 58-27

A small river divided the armies, and there was a general clash straight along the line. At first the Carthaginians seemed to have the upper hand, but a few good flank attacks and the battle evened out for a bit, until slowly the Carthaginians pulled away, thanks to their veteran spears. GG!

Division A

harveylh Berber (Marinid) 1244-1319 AD w Aragonese 1275-1319 AD defeats random27 Italo-Norman (1061-1071) w Arab (North Africa) (1038-1160), 47-17

Battle fought in south Italy where the Aragonese almughavars were able to conquer an area of rough terrain that dominated the center of the battlefield. The Berber camel lancers were able to hold their own against the enemy knights and cavalry. Good game and closer than the score indicates.

Kerait Scots (Isles and Highlands) 1050-1319 AD with Norwegian 1155-1319 AD 44-19

Keraits fearsome Scots came at the Berbers who managed to fend them off for a while, until getting the vet
spearmen into position, backed by the Aragonese knights, and then counter attacked. Well played to Kerait, who nearly
succeeded in an early victory. All the best, Lunecastle
