A real nail-biter - one more turn, and it would have been random27 posting this match result.
Many thanks to an outstanding opponent.

Rosedelio (Wallachians) defeats Triarii (German) 43-7
The Wallachians set up with a lot of archers and lights between two forest and behind a large hill. Once the Germans were close enough, the Wallachian archers and lights approached the refused German left flank. The shootout ended up collapsing the German left flank faster than anticipated, leading to the score here.

Thanks for the query.
This is a time difference issue.
The tables were created when the last result posted was by Najanaja reporting the result between himself and ulysisgrunt.
I shall make sure that future tables make clear the last recorded result rather than the date.

Div B Bagatrix 1805 with German imp defeated EDB1815 with the Crusaders score was 56-27, a tough contest and well played to EDB1815 as you said a little ambitious on the flank which may have tilted the game in my favour, hope you had fun too

Division B
edb1815 (Danish 1488-1500 w/German Feudal ally) defeats (paulmcneil French 1484-1500 AD) 60-58
This battle demonstrated the benefits and pitfalls of pike units. Halfway through it was looking like a lopsided victory for the French. The French had a horde of skirmishers which made short work of the Danish mounted missile troops and several spearmen as well. One mounted crossbow was routed by French light cavalry. The Scandinavian foot did not fare well against the French knightly charges. However the battle turns when the Danes routed some crossbowmen in the center and managed to get an advantage on the French pike keils. The Danish managed to get in several rear attacks and broke the keils which turned the score around. Still this battle could have easily gone the other way right up to the end!
Well played by my opponent.

mh5064 Macedonian 260-148 BC defeats TheBug67 Roman 105-25 BC 60-37.
An epic battle fought on level ground with a small building in the center and some rough terrain nearby. The two armies faced each other head on and after fierce fighting the two right wings of the contenders fell. The Macedonians were right of the Romans only thanks to the superior number of units which, after the collapse of the respective wings, were able to encircle the enemy hitting him on the flanks and from behind. Despite fierce resistance and some Roman counterattacks inspired by the courage of the enemy general, the Macedonians eventually prevailed. One of the most beautiful and satisfying matches I've ever fought, thank you.

Morat (Franks/Visigoths) beat ulysisgrunt (Romans/Huns) 60-46
Franks mostly on foot vs significant numbers of Roman and Hunnic cavalry over a series of low hills. Warbands pushed on in the centre while a mixture of sub-Roman foot and horse held a low hill on the left. The stars of the show were the Frankish sub-Roman foot, who stubbornly held onto the ridge for long enough for the encircling warbands to find a flank or two. After a long and bitter struggle, this proved (just) enough.
Thanks to ulysisgrunt for a great game.

Morat (French/Normans) beat Badger73 (Normans/French) 67-48
Given the armies, no surprise to find two quite similar armies slugging it out. Both with cavalry on either flanks and strong foot in the centre. Initial manoeuvring to draw the Normans forward almost went badly wrong as the French struggled to get back to a key ridge. Initial French successes in the cavalry battle on the right then started to unravel as the Normans fought back. The left was the key fight: here the French cavalry just managed to get a couple of units into the flanks of the infantry battle. This ultimately made the difference.
Thanks to Badger73 for an excellent game - and a terrific fightback by the Normans which very nearly turned the tide.
