[Metal Detector spec v9.2.3]
You can remove mines multiple times using the same British engineer unit. Is this wad?
The spec was already quite powerful.
The eng unit in the screenshot has already removed 2 minefields (with the help of the neighbor) and is set to start working on the third minefield...

About time to fix it then
Move -> clear (once) is ok.

BTW, the spec also allows "support ships" to do the same action(s) as engineers: clear multiple (sea)minefields and move in-between... LOL

Speedy removing of naval minefields, several during a single turn.
Sorry about that

But speed boats have nothing to do with seamines ? Is that in one of your mods ?
Re: [Metal Detector spec v9.2.3]
He only meant this as a joke that support ships turn into speed(y) boats by moving quickly through a possible long chain of sea mines.terminator wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 10:20 pm But speed boats have nothing to do with seamines ? Is that in one of your mods ?

Ah ok, the language barrier
Additionally, a few PT boats were equipped to carry naval mines launched from mine racks, but these were not commonly used.

Re: [Metal Detector spec v9.2.3]
Yessss, I could fix that buggy "feature" of chain-clearing with the Metal Detector spec!
The game normally sets the action- and steps-points to 0 when performing mine clearing, but not the action points if the metal detector spec is available.
I removed that condition and added the condition of ap > 0 to the CanUnitClearMines check together with the MetalDetector one.
Now an engineer can clear a minefield only once after moving in the same turn.
