Hello Phcas:

I would shorten all the barrels a little. Looking at the profiles I uploaded, for example, the gun barrels of the models 1940 and 1941 end just in line with the front mudguards. Then, the L-11 gun is shorter and the Zis-5 used by the model 1942 is a little longer, protruding a little further beyond the front track wheel.

So, we can see that the Germans did find the model 1939 in combat and managed to capture some... :) But for some reason, it looks like they did not apply any special designation to this model. One can only try to guess the reason why.

Yes, I know the barrels are a little bit longer. The reason for that is that the visibility of the barrel is very poor if it is shorter than the front of the tank. So that's the reason but the differences in length are like they would be.

Greetings! Tell me the mod version should change from 1.50 to 1.60!? And if you go through a Japanese company , addons work fine and you don 't need to buy them ! Through the Wehrmacht , the inscription pops up so that you would have purchased it and it doesn 't matter that you did it once a long time ago ) And there are still no additional DLC-1939-45!!!

Hi,

Thx for the update.
After the update I can already buy elite units in any DLC, so why is the optional download useful ?
Regarding the small scenarios I understand but the DLC, I don't.
According to me you put the purchase of elite units as a standard.

Hi Robert

I reviewed all the DLC scenarios and any errors found were corrected. All the campaign.pzdat files were updated so that waffen units could be purchased and updated. Prior to this it shouldn't have been possible to purchase or update Waffen units in the DLC scenarios. If I try and buy a Waffen unit without installing the optional DLC folder the purchase screen is displayed with the option to buy Waffen units but when you try to purchase them the message'' not enough unit slots'' is displayed.

The optional folder ''Original small PC scenarios for PAK MOD'' probably should contain the small scenarios in the standard campaign but with the original order of battle, some of the small scenarios have already been changed by the Pak Mod team. As it is these scenarios appear to be the same or similar versions to the scenarios in the ''Small scenarios standard campaign''.

It's strange, I seem to have updated everything with a replacement, but I have a different picture on the interface than you (

The SD Einsatzkommando Tunis (SD Einsatzkommando Tunis) operated in 1942-43 in North Africa. Its commander from late 1942 to May 1943 was SS Obersturmbannführer Walter Rauff.
In Osprey's books (the "Elite" series) there is a drawing of the SS Untersturmführer from the Einsatzkommando "Tunis". Below the caption: This drawing simulates the appearance of a member of the Einsatzkommando SS/SD "Tunis" in a tropical uniform. The cape is plain cut, without decorative flaps, with an SS eagle and a silk yellow and brown woven skull-shaped emblem on a black lining. The officer is wearing a tunic of the Italian "Saharian" cut, which was preferred by some officers. On the sleeve is a silk woven yellow and brown patch with an eagle on a black lining; on the left cuff is a diamond-shaped patch with silver letters "SD." There are no buttonholes on the collar. The Untersturmfuhrer has a black leather belt with an SS buckle and long yellow-brown pants tucked into laced boots.
There are also drawings of a tropical SS emblem and tropical shoulder straps.
The same book has the following information:
Although SS units did not serve in North Africa, the security service had a base in Tunisia where it, in cooperation with the local police (and no doubt the secret military police) fought saboteurs, profiteers, etc. There are photos of SS soldiers wearing commemorative cuff ribbons with "Afrika" written on them, which confirms the fact that they served in North Africa.
Regarding the SD Group in Tunisia. Its tasks were to fight speculators, catch deserters, and mainly to control the French Vichy police (Tunisia was a French colony and was controlled by Vichy France until the Allies landed). There was no secret police (Gestapo). Next, concerning the African cuff ribbon of the SS. It was noted that there were cases of SS tankers wearing this sash. It is very typical for units equipped with Tigers (heavy tank armies). (heavy tank army battalions 101-103).

As I noted earlier , if you switch to the Japanese company , the African Corps, the Allied Corps and the Soviet Corps addons work without problems ! From the Wehrmacht company there they offer to buy again what you have already bought ) DLC-1939-1945 are not even shown in the options

Hi BJB

As far as the Mod is concerned there was no significant SS presence in North Africa so they are not included in the OOB for the campaign scenarios.

If I start the Pak Modded game with the PanzerCorps Steam.exe file I get the same title page as you. I download and install the same files as you so there should be no difference in our game files.
I do not start the Pak Modded game with the PanzerCorps Steam.exe file because I find that this causes problems such as ''crc check failed reinstall game'' and problems with the access to purchased DLC folders.
However if I start the Pak Modded game direct from the PanzerCorps.exe file in the Panzer Corps folder I get the Pak Mod title page which was displayed in my previous post.

I do not know why starting the game via the PanzerCorps Steam.exe causes me problems with the game. If you start games via steam does not steam check your game files for errors on starting and rewrite files if it finds errors? This may cause issues such as the different title screen and the lack of access to your purchased content?
My involvement with the Mod is map and scenario design and I know very little about the technical aspects of how the game is loaded and runs so this is just a guess on my part.

I have explained to you in the past via private message how I installed Panzer Corps on my computer and how I start Panzer Corps. I have the Panzer Corps Gold version like yourself and I can access all purchased content in both vanilla and Pak Mod versions of the game. If I had the same problem as you I would try a fresh install of Panzer Corps Gold not via steam but direct from the panzer corps setup.exe. Mod the fresh install via the JSGME program. Start PanzerCorps directly from the PanzerCorps.exe in the Panzer Corps folder not the PanzerCorps Steam.exe. Do not use a shortcut to start the game.
