Taking tech advice here at Slitherine!!!
The idea to install in "safe mode" was a very bad idea for my PC2 game....it messed up my laptop and I had to go online through another PC to find out the fix so I could get back into normal Windows 11 mode...Please guys be very careful about what advice you follow here when installing PC2...I got very bad advice!

Your problems seem more computer-related than related to the game itself.
My experience is that I installed this game on several computers and that I had no problem.

I got the game to run fine on this new laptop,,,, it was the faulty advice I received that screwed the pooch!!!
