Any FoG at GenCon Indy 2009?

Yep the title says it all. Will anyone from the forum be at GenCon this year? I didn't see any events in the offical listing. Maybe we could meetup for an impromptu game?

I had not head. Maybe the Chicago and Ohio guys can come in and covert the last old DBM guys in Indy.

There is a small group of guys who are starting to get FoG in the Indy area. Have not heard from old DBM/DBA guys in 15+ years. But we are working on it albiet slowly. Need to repaint and get people interested. We game over at Games to Die for on the west side. There is a forum we have been posting on at the game store www.games2d4.com and any insight would be good. We all need to learn the rules etc. The guy who is running the FoW tournement is Mike Mcmann and he is big in FoW and loves FoG so good support for FoG. We are hoping in the next year to do a tournement.

In the past I have run the DBM games at GenCon. Last year was the first time in some 4-5 years I decided against it.

Mostly due to the same 4-7 players showing up locally with little to ZERO outside/traveling participation.

It was just too expensive for the return. We could have spent the same amount of $$ to have a multiday event at the Days Inn (which we did for 4+ years)

that being said, go to ATC September 25-26th as I presume there will be 20+ players in attendance. there we can talk about next year returning to Indy in force!

Besides, McBoobs owes me!
