Pursuing from Fortifications

Sengoku Jidai: Shadow of the Shogun is a turn-based tactical and strategic game set during this turbulent time; primarily focusing on the Japanese Warring States period and Japanese Invasion of Korea. Other armies from East Asia are also made available to simulate different conflicts across the region.

Pursuing from Fortifications

Post by KiwiWarlord »

I just had an eye opener, my Superior unit of Bow Swordsmen were doing a great job defending behind Fortifications in an Attack Defend Battle, they beat off the Attackers then pursued them when they Routed !!!!
They rushed out of their Defences and were Routed themselves by being hit in Flanks / Rear.

I looked up the Rule Book and page 64, - Foot defending fortifications have a chance lower than 25% of Pursuing. ( None if Defending Heavy Fortifications ) The exact % figure was not given.

Please change the " Chance of Pursing " to 0 % for all except maybe untrained Mobs, all Raw Troops and Warriors armed with Melee Weapons only.
