Firstly apologizes for no photos my laptop was not cooperating (It's really old like 10+ years).
On the Okinawa map during unit deployment there is a northeast objective for you to capture, and there are numerous deployment options near it. However if you deploy a unit (in my case a long tom) it "captures" the area leaving you at a supply deficient. What this then results in is an area where you don't have enough supply to deploy your units. You can then expand this area if you place a unit next to your initial deployment. I found if I removed my long tom I was able to deploy another unit but not both at the same time within the "captured" area.

Agree that it's odd. You can kinda abuse this during deployment phase to cut the enemy territory in half and short of supply. Then place a couple of speedboats on the southern shore to supply your own units.
But it's not a bug there, just strange/bad scen design.

I see so it is just due to the way it is set up then? Just wondering as it makes reposition units a bit of a nuance.

These northeastern deployment zones look indeed quite messed up.
One of them is even on top of a Jap MG foxhole...
Quite difficult to make out on forest terrains in the map editor, so maybe forgotten to be removed, but who knows what was going on eight years ago. We all know playtesting is our job and not the moneymakers'.
At least I removed them due mentioned exploit during deployment phase and also because this place wasn't really a historical invasion point, as you can see on this map from wiki:
US moved from the lower-middle-west northeasternwards.

Oh wow that's a really cool map, thanks for that tidbit of historical info. When you say you removed them do you mean like you created an edited version of the game?
