Fields of Glory 2 - Medieval - Dumb question on custom battles

Hi there,

Apologies for sounding a bit dumb but I've noticed that I cannot play against certain nations/armies in custom battle. Despite choosing the correct time period, I can only play against nations/armies which seem to historically correlate to each other.

For example: If I choose to play as the English (1155-1271 AD) and want to play against any of the Indian armies from the same time period, it would not let me play.

Is there a fix to this or a DLC I can buy to play against whoever I want?

You just need to turn off the Geographical filter. (And the Date filter if you want to play anachronistic matchups)

To the right of the "Date" button there is a "Geographical" button. Just click on the "Geographical" button.

It is so weird. I don't have that option. Is there a DLC I am missing?

Actually I get it now. I can select that option in the enemy army list.
