It's not until the introduction of 43 Wehrmacht Inf, 43 Gebirgsjäger etc the Germans get SA of 6 or higher.
The Romanian mountain infantry is quite overpowered it seems at this stage in the war compared to Gerbigsjäger in particular which would be the closest equivalent. I guess it is because the devs did not have enough time/resources to make separate 43 variations of the smaller nations infantry since they do not feature so much in the game so they overpowered them a bit early on so they are not too weak in the later campaigns but still...
Or are they overpowered? I know these units were the Romanians elite infantry and performed well according to numerous sources.
What are your thoughts?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vânători_de_munteI would like to finish with a telegram sent by the new Marshal Erich von Manstein (promoted on 1 July 1942) to Marshal Ion Antonescu:
To Marshal Antonescu,I report the fall of Sevastopol. The Romanian divisions, which I had the honor to command, had fulfilled their duty. They had an essential contribution to the conquest of Bastion II, the attack through rough, wooded terrain against the Sapun Heights. Another Romanian division entered Sevastopol together with the German units. I think with profound gratitude to the sacrifices the Romanian Mountain Corps made for the final victory in Crimea.Marshal von Manstein.
The Romanian vânători de munte saw action in World War II on the Eastern Front in some of the harshest battles — including the sieges of Sevastopol and Stalingrad — where their performance lived up to their reputation: virtually all their commanders from brigade level and up received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, with general Mihail Lascăr being the first foreigner to receive Oak Leaves on 22 November 1942 (see List of foreign recipients of the Knight's Cross). The greatest single achievement of the vânători de munte was the capture of Nalchik on 2 November 1942, the farthest point of the Nazi Germany advance into the Caucasus. This victory earned Romanian Brigadier General Ioan Dumitrache the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.[2]
