Be sure it is well protected. You'll need an army.

How can gold be corrupted and depreciated?

How can you spoil and depreciate gold?
From a theoretical point of view, the gold mined for all time on earth is still available. But can it really be corrupted or destroyed in any way? How can gold be depreciated?
Gold is an investment asset that allows you to save capital from depreciation. But gold is not only an investment metal. It also has unique chemical and physical properties. This precious metal can be melted down easily and an unlimited number of times, while it will not become smaller, it can take any form.

Moreover, gold can be easily extracted from electronic parts. Recycling of old electronic equipment is now quite profitable due to the high cost of gold on the world market. The situation with silver is different: this precious metal is actively used in industry, it is becoming less, and environmental changes can have a negative impact on it, which does not happen with gold.

Is gold really impossible to spoil and depreciate? With a mixture of concentrated acids, gold can be completely dissolved. This compound is called "aqua regia" - a mixture of hydrochloric and nitric acids (Latin: aqua regis or aqua regina). Similarly, you can completely destroy platinum. As a result of a chemical reaction, a new substance called hexachloroplatinic acid is formed. However, with the help of electrolysis, pure gold and dissolved platinum can be returned to their original state again.

According to experts, all the gold ever mined by mankind is theoretically still available. According to the World Gold Council, the total amount of gold on the planet is estimated at 190,000 tons.

However, there is one dangerous way to completely devalue gold. It is associated with radioactive contamination of the yellow precious metal. This method was shown in the feature film about James Bond in a series called "Goldfinger". The film's main antagonist decided to irradiate the US gold reserves so that his own gold reserves would skyrocket in value. The problem is that radioactive gold then needs to be disposed of for a long time. Rumor has it that during the disarmament program in the late 80s, radioactive gold from the USSR was recycled. But these rumors have not yet been confirmed.

That does sound nice, and the Greeks deserve love... But Greeks and Bulgarians cooperating together?!? That is almost heresy.
Why not? If Greeks and Bulgarians could cooperate against Turkey in the First Balkans war in 1912. then why couldn't they cooperate again?

A fair argument, but to which I rebut with:

Here is the Balkans in 1912

Here is the Balkans in 1913, and what happened there.

I won't say it is impossible...... But perhaps unlikely? : P

political posts and or links to political views from any side or point of view regarding political opinions will be removed, repeat posting of either and accounts will be warned, or user banned, consider this friendly advice as there will be no second reminder.

point of the thread is to talk about the mod and game, anything else is off topic and not for this forum.

Large choice of artillery. It will directly be one of the most complete faction of the mod.

Request : When you return, can you add some units for Greece ? They lack even some basics like engineer units.

l have come here to comment that you have done a great job and to leave a comment of support. l have played the mod from back before, and now l enjoy it quite more. l wasn't vocal on this forum, but hey ho.l wanted to present it, as you could become unmotivated sometimes to continue working.

Also, a question, to everyone. l always had issues with this one specific task, how to destroy non-sub ships without ships. Dealing with subs is easy with helicopters and so on, but ships are different, l mean l understand the premise, but planes can be very busy and cant establish air superiority or a air balance and at the same time strike naval ships that will always result in a minus 1-2 strength. l am aware of the Tupolev, and NATO later having Strat bombers (the french 10 Naval attack one and the US gets a strategic bomber that has 1-2 NA iirc)

Maybe in a future update add a dedicated Anti-ship plane unit, kinda like the Swordfish from WW2/Vanilla (l know you cannot buy it as a core unit in Vanilla.)

Anyway, l will leave my further comments on the mod when l am less constrained with time, and find some grievances, issues or etc.
Keep up the good work, and best regards.

Hi!

Sorry but just a question about the 2021 big scenario..
The Swedish tank "S" Strv 103 was all scraped back in 1997 and i think its a little bit "disturbing" to use it 2021 :D

Strv-103 D is the latest modification that was proposed by Bofors in the early 90s. The works included the installation of a new GTD with increased power, the build-up of armor with the installation of dynamic protection, and the modernization of the SLA. In order to solve the issue of huge dead zones, the driver mechanic and the gunner commander had elements of technical vision. The car was made in a single copy, since Sweden chose German Leopard-2s for purchase.

Hello guys,
I am slowly coming back to modding :), so I expect to post some news soon.
At the moment I am trying to prioritize what do first: I have many ideas on going but I of course I can handle one at the time.
Last update alone got 1250 downloads so far, which is very encouraging for me to keep improving MdC :)
So, for those interested, stay tuned :)

Best regards,
Akkula.
