I am seeing - or think i am seeing - or witnessing what are too or for me... 'Game-Play' anomalies! - ???... .
I see what i think i saw was a 'Switcheroo' of two units... what would be classed as concurrently changing or switching places simultaneously!... how is that done?.
I also think i saw your 'Long-Range-Heavy-Artillery' blast-off at least 6-shots or Artillery volleys during a single turn-effort at... at least two separate targets... how is that possible???. I always only had 'One-Shot' per turn unless i had a 'Double-Shot' hero embedded in the Artillery-Unit... so only a maximum of two artillery discharges... not 'Six!'.
Normally it takes me at least '2' or even '3' of my fighters to shoot down one enemy aircraft... yet i think i was seeing on a regular-basis your fighters using only one-fighter at a time to shoot down an opposing aircraft?... and not only that.., but that same single aircraft in that engagement was also able to shoot down another opposing air unit?. How is that possible???.
To me... it seems that something 'Wierd and Wonky'... and unnatural is going on here!... can you please 'Clarify'.
You can switch units if you select a unit and "shift+leftclick" the unit you want to switch places.
I havent seen his video (i dislike spoiling myself). I only know one (boring) way to have an artillery shoot more than 1 (or 2 with double attack hero) time per own-round:
overrunhero active on that artillery and steamroller trait activated. as long as you kill the enemy you can fire all your ammunition out. Or you combine that with a double attack hero aswell, in case you dont kill the enmy on the first attack.
i.e. 21cm Gun 4 Heros( Rapid fire 1.5; Elsa Kloß, Double Attack and Overrun (steamroller activated) is a real beast that will carry you through all missions if you use it correctly. You can swap out double attack for Ignores enttrenchment Hero if you like for even more damage.
The plane question isnt that easy to answer. again i havent watched the video. I will do it after release or if Slitherine got a heart for me and give me a copy before release (hehe - yes im addicted)
Without any addiional challenges like uphill battle and/or david vs goliath my planes normally kill enemy planes aswell on their attack. I prefer using the best fighters available (like FW > BF) and OS them to 12 or 14, depending on my slots.
And i try to let them always attack first (high initiative fighters with +initiative heros like galland use "Hit'n'Run" -Hero, otherwise i always use my "NO Retaliation" or "Strikes First" Heros on 1-3 of my fighters and/or fighter bombers. Its depending on my playthrough, houserules, challenges and so on how many aircraft i use.
