Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
Interesting that a rapid incursion and taking the required enemy HQ does not give you max points, because it does not cater for potential points from lost enemy units. So you could hang about before the final blow picking off units. A risky strategy.
Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
sometimes I just had to wait (not fight and don't move) to give the efficiency stat a chance to recover
units with poor efficiency also fight much worse

Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
Well, I think I can see one bit of basic maths which has led to an overall higher scores than expected, but I just hadn't accounted for sure dominations and eliminations of entire forces.
Will be interested to see how Caen and Cobra go

Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
Caen hangs on connection while trying to download my turn. Tried 3 times. Other MP games worked fine today.
Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
Yep, just debugging this now, looks like the files for Caen and Cobra only work on hotseat, not PBEM. I don't know why, I'm asking the devs.
We might not get this fixed quickly. I'll add some more days onto the gameweek once it's fixed

Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
methinks Caen is French for Stalingrad
Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
nice interesting map ... if you had seen it before I would do some things differently as a German ,
I think as an ally you have an advantage
I would not compare it with Stalingrad,
it's much clearer here

Re: The "Victorious" Tournament
I think it's a good map, you have to play conservatively with the German side.

After you have purchased a couple of Panthers it is hard not top go on the offensive whatever the odds.
