Fastest hero

Haven't seen or read about this before.
In Kharkov 43 turn 2 my new SE tank that I upgraded to a green Tiger acquired a hero on its second attack (attack +1).
Experience below 50 and only 14 kills, did not know this was possible.
Not complaining although it could have been a better hero

That's very cool. I have received heroes very early also in GC45, after a small number of kills, but never as early as you did in February '43! That's very interesting and not something I thought was possible.

A unit's first hero in the GC is awarded between 100-300 kills but at some stage in the final year(s) of the GC the threshold is lowered so you can receive it earlier, with less kills. I don't know exactly when this change comes in effect though.Does anyone know?

In GC43 the gamesrules file drops the min kills to 1 for first hero.

Yes.
The point is allow new green units a better chance to get a hero.
