Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Replaying this one while I'm waiting for new content. I'm in 1941 and have noticed that a lot of the scenarios don't have supply hubs for German reinforcements. You're stuck with whatever forces you initially deploy with. Was this always the case? Can I make a request to get them added at some point in the future?
Thanks.
Thanks.

@88Flak
since game developement is coming along slower than i expected i plan to revisit the campaign and add stuuf i couldn´t before cause i didn´t know how to do it.
e.q. i now know how to remove units from the map to reserve. U can expect to have not only supply but retreat hexes as well when apropriat.
I´ll start doing that when i am finished with 1943NH.

Oh that's cool; it could allow for some different types of missions. Maybe a two-phase mission where you use a mostly infantry force and then transition to a mostly tank force or something like that. Thanks for really testing out and expanding what the mission/campaign design is capable of!Grondel wrote: Thu Oct 20, 2022 11:45 am @88Flak

Your right, nothing to do with your mod it happened with the stock scenarios as well. I had to uninstall the game to fix it as restarting the map did nothing.Grondel wrote: Wed Oct 19, 2022 10:46 pm @roy64
sometimes the AI bugs out. not mod related and nothing we can do about that. can happen in any scenario. if this is the case the only solution is restarting the map.
I´ll have a look if something else is the case.

Make sure you have the mod actually enabled in the mod manager. Had a problem similar and that was the reason whyAndyNing wrote: Sat Oct 22, 2022 9:08 pm Hi,I met a problem when I playing one of my AfrikaCorps's old save, when I reached and finished suez canal, it says “Error : Invalid scenario path '/Game/Campaigns/GCAfrikaCorps/15Palestine/Palestine.map” and can't load to the next scenario, so I want to know how can I slove this problem and load to the next scenario successfully ?

Hi, I check again and I make sure my mod is work, I saved my game early this year February,and there's several updates then. So I don't know if this problem is about those updates.Sequester Grundleplith, MD wrote: Sat Oct 22, 2022 9:49 pmMake sure you have the mod actually enabled in the mod manager. AC had a mayor overhowl earlier this year. If this is the cause for ur problem it cannot be solved.AndyNing wrote: Sat Oct 22, 2022 10:06 pm Hi, I check again and I make sure my mod is work, I saved my game early this year February,and there's several updates then. Since u will encounter a lot of new stuff in the first halve of AC replaying from the start will be a new experience.

1943 NH Voronezh
The extra units that the overview says should be on the left side are not there and also the overview is blank(no objectives are showing. I’m playing through steam. Other than this it’s been great!

@seco1
Voronezh is just a placeholder atm, next update will be in some weeks, probs a week or 2 after AO44 release

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Thanks! And again great job! Also it’s nice to be able to use either your 42e core or your ac core.
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Hi, I see you say that you can use your core from 42e in 43nh? But I don't know why can't I use my core from 1942 in 43nh, only I can use is the core from AC.seco1 wrote: Sun Oct 23, 2022 10:11 pm Thanks! And again great job! Also it’s nice to be able to use either your 42e core or your ac core.

@andy
the path between historical and finctional is split at the end of the 1942 campaign.
u need a 1942 fic-ending core to get it into 1943NH.
to get that core u need to decide in 1942 to escape from stalingrad.
This split has been implemented earlier this year. If ur core is older than that u can go to:
...\Documents\My games\Panzer Corps 2\Cores
and change the file name:
end_of_GC1942_1
into:
end_of_GC1942fic_1

nope not a bugGarb wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:32 am Hi, thanks again for your work.
In the 1941 Novgorod scenario, hex [21,17] is probably bugged; any unit placed there is automatically surrounded.
Not a big issue.

i guess u moved there from the railroad-bridge, which is the only way without a bridging unit to get there.
thx for pointing out. i´ll just leave it as it is.

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Indeed I used the railroad bridge; so, returning to the bridge is not an option for the game engine. I had no idea.Grondel wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 1:02 amnope not a bugGarb wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 12:32 am Hi, thanks again for your work.

it´s because of the terrain. all hexes around that one are either big river or sea.

game engine allows to leave bridges in any direction, but enter only from road/rail-sides, which is odd imo.Garb wrote: Tue Oct 25, 2022 1:37 am Indeed I used the railroad bridge; so, returning to the bridge is not an option for the game engine. I had no idea.
Thanks,
i doubt this will be a mayor concern of the devs atm.
