Have I missed something hidden in the depths of the V3.1 rules or the list of changes/errata about Bw* foot?
I ask because it looks very much like Bw* will be the only infantry that do not get support shooting when charged.
It's in the V3.1 rules in Support Shooting in the Impact Phase.
"The supporters must be medium or light foot armed with bow, longbow, crossbow or firearm (but not bow*)."
It seems to be a glaring omission in the list of errata/changes.
Is it a mistake - because there have been no changes to the other instances where Bw* shooting is mentioned?

I think it is going back to v2 if that is the case. Probably because all the bow* foot are shock troops so would counter-charge. But they aren't published yet so??

Version 3.1 of the rules are now available to download from Slitherine.
Currently the download covers the Full Rules and List Book 1.
Books 2 and 3 will also be made available by the end of this year.

I saw on p74 what you describe. However on p68 it says: impact dice 1 dice per bow/CB 2nd/3rd rank, but 'Light foot or light horse and medium foot shooting from a supporting rank with Bow*' lose 1 dice per 2. which seems contradictory.

The 1st Bullet should still read

When I release List Book 2 (hopefully end of this month), I'll also update any of the current downloads that require a change.
I'll also produce a "Change Notification" document that will Identify any changes (by date) that have been made to any of the currently available documents, and add a date stamp to each page that has been updated.
So far this is the only error that has been noted in the Rules, and there is one points entry in list Book 1 that needs changing. (Hittite list – Syro-Canaanite chariots should be 13pts).
