Multiplayer Login "Authentication Failed"

Hello,

Yesterday, I purchased Field of Glory II and Field of Glory II: Medieval on Steam. Today I attempted to log into Multiplayer, and created a Slitherine account through the website. That account is the same account I am writing this topic with.

When I log into Multiplayer with the credentials of my account, authentication fails.



As far as I am aware, there are two locations on my disks that are used by the game. These are:

Local Steam directory:

Code: Select all

Z:\Games\Steam Games\steamapps\common\Field of Glory II Medieval\

"My Games" directory:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\FieldOfGloryMedieval\

The operating system I am using is Windows 10. Windows Defender is not preventing the game from reading from nor writing to files on my C nor Z drive. I have tried to log in with firewall disabled.

Is there an obvious wrong I am doing? How can I successfully log into Multiplayer?

Best to contact support. It may be that your username or password contains invalid characters, for example.
