Specialisations seemingly not working

When playing Allies Resurgent on Playstation there are 3 forces which can get specializations.
To select the left force I can press Arrow Left.
To select the right force I can press Arrow Right.
But there seem to be no way to select the middle force, meaning I can not use my specialization points for it. Middle is US or British, I forget right now.

Either this is a huge oversight or I am missing something crucial here (the latter being an absolute possibility).

I'm guessing you're using PlayStation or Xbox?

I've reported this issue to the developers (you can JUST ABOUT select the middle spec, but you have to tap the D-Pad VERY VERY gently) and should be fixed in next patch

Yes, I am using Playstation (it says so in my original post).

I will try to tap it gently. Great new indeed. I do not (overly) mind it being difficult, as long as it is possible.

So, here's the thing. I tried to tap it gently and it does not work. This is not a fix for the problem.

More so, the pad I should "press gently" is digital (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DualShock#DualShock_4). So gently or not, it is the same difference.

As it is Allies Resurgent is pretty much unplayable in my view. I mean, how could I complete it without specialisations for the British.

At which point will you fix this bug?
