Maybe you have too many applications installed, so your macbook freezes.

In most cases, the apps slow down your MacBook's operating system. You should regularly clean up and remove unneeded applications. This way, you will clean the system, allowing you to speed up the operating process. Knowing how to delete apps on a Mac correctly is essential for keeping your device optimized and running smoothly.

In Windows, the Black Screen phenomenon is associated with deleting the Settings folder; that is, C:\Users\[name]\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2\Settings. The game reconstructs this folder with default settings the next time it starts.

If you look through some other, similar threads here, you may see that this procedure has worked for other users. Whether it does for you, on a Mac, remains to be seen. I assume you would be able to find a Settings folder somewhere in your game setup on a Mac.

If all else fails, try this and see if it clears up the matter. You may want to back up the Settings folder first, however, just in case.
