Well, I am saying what I mean. You're free to ask me how many points are missing, how many points
are in ambush or on a flank march. If you ask nicely (a beer bribe helps :)) I'll even show you my
army list at the start of the game. Believe me, I really do not care.

It's toy soldiers, pushing prettily decorated lumps of lead around a table: it doesn't come much sillier
than that. So like I said, why be an arsehole about it?
Yes I see your point... but why be a wanker about it.

I think one LF putting a corner behind a BG of 6 knights to stop a break-off and cause an automatic cohesion drop is fairly cheesy.
But to do this you must charge the knights with your own foot first. A risky strategy. So perhaps a valid tactic of supporting it with some sneaky little shits in the rear.

You don't need to charge the knights if you're feeling lucky - you could advance to be a gnats todger from their front and but the blockers a gnats todger behind them so that the combined gnats todgers are less than 1MU. However, it would require the knights to fail the CMT to avoid charging and wouldn't work against non-shock mounted so I wouldn't base a battle plan around it

It also won't work if the enemy has another BG that can charge the LF doing the todgering.

What I have done on more than one occasion is slipped LF behind a cavalry BG that thought it was going to be able to evade and blocked the evade path but again that needs your opponents mounted to be rather isolated for it to work.

The way I normally end up being stuck in contact is when one of my own BGs gets in the way like I managed in Leeds when a BG of LF evaded short and ended up just behind a cavalry BG that was charged in the open by MF.
