Thank-you for that additional 'info'... "kondi754"... it's much appreciated!. I had in-fact posted that same or similar information a while back, but had thought that the information on the South-Korean purchases should also have been included and mentioned here as well. So!...Thank's again!.

There is so much going on in the forum that it's impossible to read everything.
Your post about a South Korean contract was overlooked by me.

PREVIOUS POSTING-NEW!!!:
Here!... is just 'One-Example' of what's happening out there!.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/27/asia/sou ... index.html
Poland to buy hundreds of South Korean tanks, howitzers after sending arms to Ukraine
The agreement will see Warsaw purchase 980 tanks based on the South Korean K2 model, 648 self-propelled K9 armored howitzers, and 48 FA-50 fighter jets, the ministry said.

The first 180 K2 tanks, made by Hyundai Rotem and equipped with auto-loading 120mm guns, are expected to arrive this year, with the production of 800 upgraded tanks starting in 2026 in Poland, according to the ministry.

The first 48 K9 howitzers, made by Hanwha Defense, are also expected to arrive this year, with delivery of a second batch of 600 due to start in 2024. From 2025 these will be produced in Poland, the ministry said.

The ministry said these armored vehicles would, in part, replace the Soviet-era tanks [Poland Supplied 240 Russian Soviet-Era Tanks] that Poland has donated to Ukraine to use in its fight against Russia.

POLAND... Is going full-throttle on Military-Equipment-Upgrades!:
https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/po ... id=79a1b8

Poland seeks purchase of 96 Apache attack helicopters from US, making second-largest fleet in the world.

The Polish military is seeking to purchase 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from Boeing, tripling an earlier request for 32 aircraft Thursday.

The purchase would grant Poland the 2nd largest fleet of Apaches in the world, behind the United States. The Boeing-produced aircraft is among the most advanced attack helicopters in the world.

The price tag for the purchase has yet to be announced, but individual aircraft can cost up to $140 million, depending on how they are outfitted.

Poland's new fleet of Apaches would replace its outdated, Soviet-designed Mil Mi-24 fleet.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Compared to earlier AH-64Es, V6 types feature an expanded suite of sensors, as well as communications systems and data-links, which improve their ability to spot and engage targets, especially during over-water operations, as well as detect and avoid threats.

This package could put the Polish deal closer to $12.5 billion, depending on the particulars of the complete package.

Nothing, moving it to general discussion.

Also a note:

It is ok to discuss modern military technology, this thread could get political fast. So, I'll make this simple for everyone to follow: Don't talk about NATO, or the current tensions and this can remain open for discussion.

That is! and was! the purpose of these postings. If you live in North-America... i guess that none of this may matter to you at all!... it would be irrelevant and of no-importance or consequence!.

Politics, "hot topics" and current events are not allowed on our forums for good reason. People play video games to relax, unwind, have fun and escape from an often bitter and harsh world.

I live in a country that literally shares a border with Russia, believe me when I say that people are concerned, but there is a time and a place for discussions like this and it's not here.

Since you've broken the rules you'll get a warning and this thread will be locked.
