Distraction - best use?

After 5 campaigns, I still haven't figured out the best use for this guy.

Any suggestions?

Put it on a recon.
Go in "disable" antiair, attack with your planes the vulnerable enemys, go out with your recon.

Tbh not a useful hero in my opinion, there are always so much better options.

Weak hero, but I usually put it on a bomber with Lightning Attack. Typically a Stuka with Rudel. He takes out an adjacent unit to a AA gun, and the Distraction hero allows another bomber who doesn't have Lightning Attack to attack without AA support fire getting in the way. Good for attacking city hexes that have a large build-up or cluster of enemy units defending it.
