I thought the rules state that in a case like this the routers rout in an equal angle away from both enemies.

Also they can only rout away from charges they are the target of. Not charges they become the target of due to their rout.

That would be the case if there were two chargers. In this case, the target is in close combat when charged by another enemy BG, so if it breaks, it only routs away from the single charger.

You are adding the word respectively to the end of the first sentance of the second bullet point on p100. If you break under any of the specified conditions, then you rout away from all of the enemy meeting any of the specified conditions.

Just because you are being charged doesn't make the enemy in contact - and that likely fragged you in the first place - less of a threat.

That's certainly how I've been playing it. The BG in combat will still pursue you if it can too.
