Playing multiplayer battles just for fun

Post by NinjaBushido »

Me and a few friends have been in a multiplayer game for about a year I think now, with weekly turns. We just had a huge battle that ended in my favor. I understand that exporting the battle and import it back into the game is not possible, but is there a way to just play it out for fun anyways? I am not quite sure how the formula for the transfer works, is it something we could do manually? AFAIK especially previous damage and experience could be hard to do manually?

Thanks for all the help

You could probably fight a single player battle in FOG2 based on the units in your multi-player FOGE battle by editing the c:\MyGames\FIELDOFGLORYEMPIRES\SAVES\AgeodBattleData.TXT file and fighting an Empires Battle in FOG2.

That would be your best bet indeed, but it requires significant file manipulation nonetheless.

Editing the file might not be "fun". Still, if you are dedicated...
