1939 freeze up?
at the end of turn 18 to end the optional scenario where you destroy airfield/ammo dumps and get the 2 different French armies to clash, I hit end turn and the game freezes up? I've reloaded a few turns back twice with the same freeze up problem. any ideas? anyone else experience this?

Re: 1939 freeze up?
what's runany victory where to I type or does a key stand for it?
Re: 1939 freeze up?
It is a cheat code that immediately ends the scenario with a victory for you. Open the chat window (from the menu or hit the "1" on the keyboard) and type "runany Victory 0" exactly into the chat window and hit enter.scorehouse wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 12:05 am what's runany victory where to I type or does a key stand for it?

Re: 1939 freeze up?
tried it but is that a zero or a capital O? also at the end of turn 18, nothing happened so I hit restart scenario and did it. the turn hour glass started spinning and never stopped? so I clicked on it and HAL started moving his armies. what am I doing wrong? and what should happen after I type and hit enter? HAL will automatically play real fast, the game will just end immediately in victory and go to the next battle, or ...?

Re: 1939 freeze up?
do you have to play a turn, set your army up or just get to the start of turn one and execute command?
Re: 1939 freeze up?
No, it should work right away. Copy and paste it from here without the parentheses: "runany Victory 0"scorehouse wrote: ↑Thu Jul 21, 2022 11:47 pm do you have to play a turn, set your army up or just get to the start of turn one and execute command?
Open the chat/briefing window. I use the keyboard shortcut, "1/!" above the "Q" key. I am referring to a US standard keyboard. Can't help you if yours is different.
If you have the will and patience, you can also use it to scout out what heroes you will get for the entire campaign too. You just need to save the first scenario before you skip through the rest of them. That way you don't waste hours playing half of a DLC to discover that your heroes are all for shit! (I have done this enough times...the stories that I could tell. Let's say it is truly random so anything is possible.)
