Funny conincidence, I also tried to make the L6 more useful in the coming patch, using reconmove while in tank class and switch to recon class for more defense values, but less rate of fire.
Recon class without modded exp.pzdat has pretty bad modifiers. As a start, I will probably use a flat bonus for ground units in the next patch. But perhaps the recon class could use some extra defensive boni from experience, both ground defense and close defense. That would make the rather squishy units much less vulnerable in the late war.

no...because of whatever update they did ...the Gold version...most front screens do not show up...I would ask McGuba what e did or Locarnus what he did so it showsup as the first screen because as of today what comes up is the generic Panzer Corps screen

Yeah, they really "botched" that "Gold version only" transition in early 2020. It is a mess and I also tripped over that more than once, in various places...

The same background image needs to be twice in the UI\startscreen folder, with different filenames (menu_wide_bg.jpg and menu_wide_bg_gold.jpg, your 1.99 version only has the former). One for the people that got conned during the early 2020 transition and one for the people who do not suffer from that issue. Same exact thing happened to me as well in recent addon patches, until I had both in the last version...

Sometimes dropbox does not work nice with some browser addons, even if it just obscures the "Download" field in the top left ("Herunterladen").
One possible workaround is, to copy and paste the link into a vanilla browser without installed addons (eg "Internet Explorer" or "Edge")

It appears that dropbox link is broken after re-upload (atleast it says "item was deleted" for me). Easyupload link is fine and shine though

The main "issue" (scam) is, that some people can not access their bought and paid for DLCs without "workarounds" (eg Afrika Korps, Allied Corps and the Soviet campaign is not even visible)...
When clicking on those icons, they are prompted to rebuy the DLC they already paid for.

There is probably more, but I'm not actively searching for it.

Currently playing Bessarabia scenario and best infantry you can get are Alpini. I have one unit of motorized Bersaglieri but that was a gift unit from earlier scenario.

Hi and thank you for your compliments! I'm happy, you like it!
It is intentional: based from the fact that Bersaglieres were elite and rare infantry, I wanted to represent that in the game. I thought also the same with assault engineers. Also, I found out that 2 motorised Alpini and 1 Bersaglieri are enough as inf for a successful run of the campaign, so I did not want to overpower it. I understand, that it would bring more diversity, but the above mentionet points had the priority. I also did not want to have the same characteristic units as we would play with the Germans.
So, about these are my arguments.

That is not nice....I want to be able to use them in a more effective way. Auxiliary units aren't near as fun as core
