Game freezes at campaign launch

Hi,

Just purchased this game on steam. I was greeted with "TV installation" message that asked me if I wanted to go to a battle and I said Yes. When the loading finished the game crashed with a bug report submission page. I submitted the crash logs.

Then I was taken to the main menu. I tried launching a new campaign but the game freezes every time with a blurry screen.

Things I ve tried

• Validating local files through steam

• Deleting files under AppData\LocalLow\The Artistocrats\Starship Troopers

• Waiting to see if the game would start eventually

• Starting a Scenario (same crash report)

The game is literally unplayable for me at this point.. The videos looked really promising but I might end up refunding...

Same issue for me... game freezes at 'loading'. Not sure what to do next... tried deleting all downloads and rebooting... same issue returns.

I had the problem with the game staying on loading indefinitely. I fixed it by starting the game by right clicking on the icon and selecting run as administrator. It worked immediately.

Yes more often than not installing and running as admin helps most with permissions issue, mostly a 3rd party software issue which installing and running fixes
