GPU running hot?

This game should not be taxing my GTX 1070. As of right now, this game, more than any other, makes my GPU fans run at full blast and actually heats up my office. Why? Is this an optimization issue? Is there a setting to help reduce the impact on that card? For a basic top/down map with some basic sprites moving around, things are intense! My Total War games don't even do this.

I had a similar problem than you.... I solved this capping the fps to 20.... it´s not necessary more than the minimum....at least it worked for me.
