Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
It is 1943. Between the brutal stalemales, brutal winter and armies of marauding tanks, the Germans find themselves pinned or retreating throughout Russia.
But, as spring of 1943 approaches, the wehrmacht perhaps has some cause for optimism. The lessons of the last few years have surely been learnt. The Russians have surely taken incalculable losses. Surely a well thought out strike now could see the end of the war.
We are delighted to announce that Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now, and with it comes the turning point in the most brutal part of the war.
Will you be able to change history and lead Germany to victory? Or will overcoming the Russian defences prove too problematic to attempt? Either way, this extensive DLC will offer hours of tactical depth and challenge to keep you engaged right up until the final moment.
As with other Axis Operations content, you’ll be able to jump right into this DLC with your existing core. If you don’t have one, don’t worry, as you can also play with our specially tuned premade core.
Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is available now on the Slitherine store, Steam, Epic Games and GoG.

Just wondering, first scenario of AO 43 and there's "a narrative objective"
Is this something we have to do in any case? of if we don't then we open a parrallel timeline? (aka non historical path?)

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
The briefings have not yet been translated into German language??
Will this come with a patch?

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
There is no translation for e.g. Polish, but what's worse, I can't import my army from AO 1942. I checked and this error occurs now in all DLCs.
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
As players have noticed, the localizations for the new 1943 DLC are not available yet.
They have not been discarded, or lost, or forgotten. Just unfortunately delayed.
There is more text in this DLC than there has been in any previous DLC, with historical events, characters, character dialogues, the beginning of an entirely new ahistorical timeline that requires even more text than normal to fully explain and flesh out, and more.
We really wanted to stuff this DLC with extra goodness and do historical characters justice. Sorry this has caused delays in then localizing that text into many additional languages.
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
Do you have any equipment file mods installed, by chance?
I just tested importing some of my old CORE into my old DLC... everything seems to be working. No crashes, no errors, my old COREs are importing correctly into the DLC they are attempting to enter.
If you had mods, perhaps they need to be re-enabled after the update?

Hi, just a minor thing, the Beta testers were sent a nice e-mail thanking them for the testing, the e-mail states the 43 DLC would be released on the 9th of July? I ignored this date and checked the store and downloaded.
Now i can play for real.
Thanks

Did your BETA tester email come with a discount code for 1943?milliethedog wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 9:24 pm Hi, just a minor thing, the Beta testers were sent a nice e-mail thanking them for the testing, the e-mail states the 43 DLC would be released on the 9th of July? Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
Kerensky and all the team just came here to praise you guys for great work in 1943 DLC
I even used "runany Victory 0" just to read all the history until the end (i am fine with spoilers
)
Now the though work begins, there are some really "nasty" missions ahead that will require long hours of fun trying to crack them.
Some minor bugs to handle (normal) but just to say its was worth this long wait that ended today.

Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
Spent most of the afternoon and evening playing, got to "Return to Stalingrad" before calling it quits for the night. Like the others, 1943 is very well done. I am confident it is the hardest AO title yet; those first few missions are nothing but slugging it out. I lost 2 of the units that I've had since starting SCW on Prokhorovka; the AI seems to be far smarter and takes advantages of openings more than in the previous titles. The Kursk missions were tough going, even with my crack 5-star Corps that i've had since SCW and 1939. AO '43 will be utterly brutal if you start out fresh on it.
Not gonna spoil too much, but the return of 6th Army was very welcome.

I was a part of the Beta tester team too, and I have recieved an e-mail yesterday.
It seems to be an early draft since it is adressed as: "Hello {First Name}" and with release day 9th of July.
It comes with no discount code for AO 1943
Re: Panzer Corps 2: Axis Operations 1943 is out now
That date is wrong (obviously), and the discount codes should be coming, if our BETA testers are willing to wait for them.

Hi Kerensky,
No there was no discount code, but to be honest the DLC is cheap enough, i am more than happy to pay the full price. The reward for me is to be involved in making a great game better.
Thanks
Martin
